Traveling to New York

My New York trips have been always filled with excitement and fun. I have visited New York City almost thrice in a year and enjoyed every bit of my stay in Manhattan.

First visit went into enjoying the site seeing in New York City. Visits to Statue of Liberty, Empire State building or Times Square were memorable moments. New York is one of the biggest attraction to any travelers to USA.

One thing everyone would need to remember is the cost of living in New York City. It's very high compared to any other city in USA. When cost of living is high, of course hotel rates are going to be sky high. So while deciding the travel plans, it becomes necessary to find out good hotel booking service to make sure you get the best rates for New York Hotels.

Well, if you are pretty new to New York City, you can find the best deals on New York hotels at RealTravel.com which sorts your hotel search results by popularity and also indicates on the New York city map to help you book a great hotel for your trip. You can also select a hotel to compare rates online, check the availability and find nearby attractions and restaurants.

Sophisticated way of begging

Now what would you think about this? I would call it as a sophisticated way of begging. The smileys anyways tell you that he is lying and this is not true. But just as a fun, it's pretty interesting way of begging.

I had seen such people begging in Manhattan, NYC asking for a beer. If I get that pic, I would drop one here as well.

Happy 4th July - Enjoy the Firework

Photo taken by me from 23rd Street, Manhattan

Hi Everyone out there in America, wish you happy 4th July! Hope you enjoying the holiday and ready for some fireworks in the evening. I am not sure if every city out there sees it, but I had seen 4th July celebration in 2004 in New York City right in Manhattan, and the firework sponsored by Macy*s was pretty awesome!

The spectacular Macy's July 4th fireworks display is a New York tradition. And as they say, and it has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The fireworks was launched on the East River between 23rd and 42nd Streets and from a location near the South Street Seaport. It was amazingly spectacular moment and I tried to capture those moments in my digital camera.

By any chance, if you are in New York City today, and want to enjoy the fireworks, make sure to read Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks in New York City article by Pamela Skillings.

I could not take those *amazing* type of photos, but they are good enough to keep my memories alive.

Yoga-thon in Times Square, New York

Yoga enthusiasts participated on 22nd June in the annual Summer Solstice in Times Square, New York, with a Yoga-thon. It may not be as peaceful as you do it in the garden in morning, but probably it's something different to do it right in the middle of Manhattan, New York City.
