Who is responsible for the Lathi Charge on Medical Students in Mumbai

It was very sad to watch on TV how Mumbai police was doing lathi charge on innocent medical students. The guy was getting up and requesting the policeman to stop, but no.. these policemen were like annoyed by the raasta roko and they could not stop themselves showing their inhumanity.

Why they were not supposed to keep it mild even if the law and order was broken on the streets by Medico Students??? I bet most of these students might have got swellings on hands and legs.

I ask these Policemen a simple question, won't they ask for humanity, if their relative or small kid is knocking the hospital doors and one of these future Doctors refuses to treat the patient because its 4 o'clock in the morning.

There should be an enquiry on who ordered the Lathi Charge on Medical students today.. it sounds so mild now, because we know nothing will come out of these BS enquiries.

BarCamp @ Mumbai

13th May 2006 has some significance for Mumbai Brains. What its all about? Its BarCampMumbai .. Well, let me tell you who all don't know about BarCamp.

Its all about Open Source, Blogs, Mobile Computing, Next Gen Internet World, PodCasts, Web 2.0, Social Networking, Ajax... did you see that its something familiar to you.. there you go!! Its all about Sharing knowledge. No one would be spectator here, but all would be only participants. That sounds real good. Well as you read, BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.



I am a bit disappointed, as I would not be able to go to Mumbai this weekend. But hey one sec, Did I read it correct. Hurray, There is "BarCampPune" this month end. Pulling my sock to get ready for this one for sure... :-)

Two priests - Pretty Funny!

Two priests decided to go to Hawaii on vacation. They were determined to make this a real vacation by not wearing anything that would identify them as clergy. As soon as the plane had landed, they headed for a store and bought some really outrageous shorts, shirts, sandals, sunglasses, etc. The next morning they went to the beach, dressed in their "tourist" garb.
They were sitting on beach chairs, enjoying a drink, the sunshine and the scenery when a drop-dead gorgeous topless blonde in a thong bikini came walking straight towards them. They couldn't help but stare. As the blonde passed them, she smiled and said, "Good morning, Father, good morning, Father," nodding and addressing each of them individually, then passed on by. They were both stunned. How in the world did she know they were priests? So the next day, they went back to the store and bought even more outrageous outfits. 
Once again, the two priests settled on the beach in their chairs to enjoy the sunshine. After a while, the same gorgeous topless blonde, wearing a string, taking her sweet time, came walking towards them.
Again, she nodded at each of them, said, "Good morning, Father," and started to walk away. One of the priests couldn't stand it any longer and said, "Just a minute, young lady." 
"Yes?" she asked."We are priests, and proud of it, but I have to know, how in the world did you know we are priests dressed as we are?""Father, it's me, Sister Angela."

I don't know in which world we are living.. Can you believe that these heartless people did this to an innocent kid... He lost his one hand .. reason, stealing a bread for his empty stumoch.

Reading this really made me sad, its not like I wanted to make you sad too.. but I wanted to have you aware of this.
